Go to the ant, you lazy one! See her ways and be wise, which having no commander, overseer or ruler, prepares her suppplies in the summer, gathers her food in the harvest. Prov. 6:6 & 7 I think we have been given a clear direction while living in this troublesome era: BE WISE! Do not fret, do not hide under a rock, do not buy frivilous feel good tresures, do not ignore the signs of danger, do not waste your life away in front of the t.v. It is clear that we have the oppurtunity and warning to prepare now in whatever ways we can to live frugally, wisely and focused. It is my main thought these days, “how can I live like an ant?” I hope to write down some ideas and also keep track of my progress as well as help encourage anyone else out there in this busy, rough world in the same endeavor.

I love that proverb. Also, you wrote an article about your first goat. Do you have any sheep?
Sadly, we have not found sheep in our area. We had four California Red sheep a few years back but we did not milk them. We llok forward to owning some milking sheep in the future. Sheep milk is so concentrated even though you get less.
I am looking here:
http://www.azurestandard.com/search.php?q=coconut+oil
and I can’t find the exact coconut oil you mentioned. Is it in one of the tubs? The expressed one?
Thanks!
Golly, that’s strange. It appears Azure no longer carries Wilderness Family Natural’s Coconut Oil in Cod Pressed form. I didn’t notice it was no longer carried because I bought so much last time I haven’t needed to buy it recently. I’m sorry. You could buy the Nutiva brand that is Extra Virgin or you could also buy the Wilderness Family Natural Cold-Pressed Oil on their website: http://www.wildernessfamilynaturals.com/category/coconut-products-coconut-oil.php
