About antlife.org

Antlife.org is a website dedicated to encouraging young and old to embrace the lifestyle of an ant spoken of by Solomon in Proverbs 6.

“Go to the ant, you lazy one! See her ways and be wise, which having no commander, overseer or ruler, prepares her suppplies in the summer, gathers her food in the harvest.”                                                                                          Prov. 6:6 & 7

Cooking time in Gramma's kitchen

Thank you for visiting Antlife! My name is Betz. I’m a young wife, mama and a farm girl at heart. After living the city life, playing the debt game and searching for the right place, my husband, our little one and I moved to North Western Montana for a complete paradigm shift. We found a few acres and an old farm house and a new future. In these exciting days to come I’m hoping we will be living off the land, milking sheep, gathering eggs, planting tomato seeds, stocking up our cellar, fishing and hunting for our own grub, hanging the clothes out on the line, sewing with recycled wares, swinging with my little one in the hammock, living with less but enjoying life more. I’m a novice to say the least when it comes to an ant’s life but I am willing to roll up my sleeves and get a bit dirty while trying.  Come along with me as we follow the Ants.

FYI: my family comes first and foremost in my life. That includes their happiness, their tummies and all their other needs. My love for them is too deep to neglect them while urging others to live like an ant. I cannot get myself to spend time and energy adding to Antlife if my home is not in order, if dinner is not squared away and if my little one is needing her mama to read her “da Grover book”.
